The rooms at Ashcott Homestead Bed & Breakfast are absolutely charming! The balcony with its beautiful stained glass door adds a touch of elegance. The king size bed in one room and the queen size bed in another were incredibly comfortable, and the three single beds in the third room were perfect for the kids. We all slept like royalty! The amenities in the rooms were top-notch. We had everything we needed, from a TV and wifi to electric blankets and heating. The bedlinen, bathrobes, and towels were all of high quality, making our stay extra cozy and luxurious. The private bathrooms in each room were well-equipped, whether with a bath or shower. It was nice to have our own space to freshen up after a long day of exploring. The Ashcott Homestead is a truly historic gem. The beautifully appointed bedrooms transported us back to the 1860s, giving us a sense of the homestead's rich history.
Personally, I found the size of one of the rooms with a queen size bed to be a bit small. However, I understand that some guests might still find it perfectly comfortable, especially if they don't mind cozy spaces.

The library is perfect for reading all day long, like I don't have better things to do on vacation. And oh, the hosts are just so knowledgeable, it's like having my own personal Google. Breakfast was delightful, but who needs all those choices, right?
So disappointed that I couldn't take a dip in their luxurious pond with the jetty. The lack of a swimming pool really ruined my stay.

So many books to read in The Library, it's a shame I couldn't stay longer to explore them all! John and Giovanni were so helpful in suggesting the best spots to visit. The stained glass windows in the dining area made breakfast even more delightful. I just wish they had a lift because I love carrying my luggage up the stairs.
